Our Practice
Since 1988, Dr. Karon LoCicero and the medical
practitioners of LoCicero Medical Group have worked to improve the
health and well-being of each patient. The Group includes physicians and
nurse practitioners, all well-trained and highly qualified.
The Group provides primary
care treatment, in a unique way. You will find that your health history
and total well-being is of concern at each visit. Patients see us for a
wide range of acute diseases and illnesses, including diabetes,
hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, and more. Physicals are an
important part of our practice, and we recommend you have a complete
physical annually.

Refill a prescription
Save a trip! You can have
your prescriptions filled while you are in the office, at the Medical
Dispensary. Most major insurance plans are accepted. Bring your
prescription card and funds for co-pay with you to your appointment.

Diagnostics in our
office
One of
the biggest problems in medicine today is called “non-compliance.” Each
time your doctor or urse practitioner orders a test or diagnostic
procedure that you put off until a later time, or fail to have done, it
increases the challenges associated with effectively treating your
health.
To combat this problem, the LoCicero Medical Group provides a vast array
of diagnostic tests and procedures in the office, as a regular part of
our practice of medicine. The goal is to complete whatever tests are
needed in a timely and convenient way.

Need lab testing?
LMG has a fully accredited,
on-site laboratory draw station. It is convenient—right here in the
LoCicero Medical Group building in Suite 500. The LoCicero Draw Station
is accredited and licensed, so you know that your lab tests will be

Insurance Coverage
and Payment
The LoCicero Medical Group
accepts compensation from most major health plans (HMO’s, PPO’s, and
indemnity health plans. The Group also accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and personal checks for co-pays or payment for
services. When you make an appointment, please bring your insurance card
with you; one form of photo ID; and a form of payment for your co-pay.

Electronic Medical
Record
The practice uses some of the
most modern and sophisticated tools available in medicine, including the
Electronic Medical Record. You will see the professionals at LoCicero
Medical Group with an electronic tablet as opposed to a clipboard or
paper file. Not only is this an environmentally responsible business
practice, it is a more efficient and effective means of practicing
medicine.
